To Catch a Thief

Following after the last episode, Will decides to take up an offer Jafar gives him to ressurect Anastasia if he retrieves his staff from Alice & Cyrus. This tests their friendship, but eventually realizes the error of his ways when the Jabberwocky asks for their help to free her from Jafar as he'll only stab her with the Vorpol Sword after he casts the spell, but takes Cyrus with her. Alice & the Knave then break into the castle where Jafar is waiting & manage to free his father in the process. As Amara is finally free from being a staff, Jafar ultimately decides to cast the spell. However, Cyrus dies once Alice arrives & Amara & Jafar start the spell to change the laws of magic. In the flashbacks, we see the history between Will & Alice as he was told to search for her under Cora's orders, which leads them to make a deal concerning his missing heart in exchange for proof that Wonderland exists & that he doesn't kill her, thus starting their friendship.
I have to say, as the show progresses it gets better & better. Yes, it may not come close to OUAT standards, but it's still good! I enjoyed seeing some of Alice & Will's funny & snarky banter in the flashbacks along with seeing Alice's Wonderland plot finally come full circle along with. Although there was much going on, nothing really felt rushed surprisingly & I liked seeing more of bandit Alice. I also liked seeing Will now that he's got his heart back & calling Alice out on the fact that all she cares about is her love story & nothing else, something which is somewhat of an established flaw for her. I even liked seeing the Jabberwocky admit her mistakes & wishing for freedom, but my only issue with her is that we don't even know what happens to her after Jafar leaves her. As for the cliffhanger at the end with Cyrus dying, Amara being restored to human form & the spell being enacted, it was interesting, but I think it'll be obvious there'll be a happy ending judging the title of the finale....Still I liked it & I'll be so glad to finish reviewing this show very soon so I'm on track with everything OUAT related!
Poor Will!
How can she look beautiful when she's dead?!
Interesting outfit...
Gotta say, I like seeing outlaw Alice! Kinda reminds me of Bandit Snow in OUAT!
Nice to see Alice & Cyrus are sympathetic with Will & Anastasia's death!
Nice parallel with 1x03 with the funny Snow & Charming net scene!
I can't believe Will is even considering Jafar's offer!
Why doesn't he just stab her with the Vorpal Sword if she's of no use to him now?!
Still can't believe he's thinking of taking the offer! What if there's a conesequence that comes with it?
Feels nice to see Cora's vault again!
Hi again Taj & Rafi!
You're seriously telling me he'd consider killing his friend?!
'You know what your problem is? You think your love story is the only one worth fighting for!' Thank you for calling her out!
Nice to see more bonding between them!
OK, that was pretty funny!
'Nobody's born a monster. We're made.' Gee, doesn't that sound familiar?!
Nice to see more fo their friendship! And interesting that he has a sister!
Why am I not surprised she took Cyrus?
Nice to see Alice free Jafar's father!
Oi! Leave Will alone!
Nice to see you again Amara!
Love seeing more of badass Alice!
OK...what the hell is that?!
NO!!!
Why is she doing the spell if she's enemies with him?!
Is it me or does Jafar look like something from Avatar: The Last Airbender?
