And They Lived...

In this series finale, continuing from where it left off, Jafar now has the ability to change the laws of magic, & Alice & Amara manage to team up & convince the other residents of Wonderland to stand up & fight against him. Jafar meanwhile gets his father to finally love him & call him his son, only for his true intentions to reveal that he wanted his father to know what it was like to be murdered by someone they love, killing him. He also manages to revive Anastasia like he promised, but makes it so that he's in love with her, leaving Will trapped in the castle & captures Alice during the ensuing battle & he tells her his plan to turn back the clock so that she went to Wonderland & never met Cyrus. Will manages to snap Anastasia out of it & they go off to defeat Jafar at the Well of Wonders, where he attempts to defeat them just as Amara sacrifices herself to free her sons from their curse. As punishment for stealing the water, the Nyx inflicts the same curse as she did on Cyrus & his brothers, turning him into a genie. However, Anastasia is dead again, but thanks to the Nyx telling them that it wasn't her time to go, Alice & Cyrus give Will water from the Well of Wonders & she is revived, with them rekindling their love instantly. Now that Wonderland is saved, Alice & Cyrus decide to go back to England where they get married with Ana, Will & one of the Tweedles attending & the Rabbit officiating. The show ends years later with Alice, Cyrus & their daughter having a tea party with Alice reading her the story of their adventures in Wonderland with the White Rabbit watching on.
I thought this series finale was pretty good! All the plots ended as they should've been, the writing was pretty good & I even liked the acting from all the cast, especially Michael Socha, Emma Rigby & Sophie Lowe's. I loved the ending with the wedding & it was a nice way to end the series as there are no cliffhangers or big twists, so it shows that the writers were aware that this would only by a one season 13 episode long show. Overall, while OUATIW wasn't really what I expected (I had very low expectations & still find it pretty unecessary), it could've been much worse! Although it doesn't live up to it's parent series with the characters or the writing, the show does slowly get going & there are some stand out moments from the actors, so I can understand why they got Michael Socha back for season 4 of OUAT. So to sum up, while not as good as OUAT in terms of quality (ESPECIALLY in the special effects department), it's still a nice little show to watch for fans of OUAT. However, I will say it's going to be something that people will be divided on. It's either you love it, you hate it, don't care for it, or just think it's meh. And I must warn you, it is only exclusively made for OUAT fans as it doesn't do anything to explain the premise of OUAT or the characters or the setting & structure, as there are cameos from OUAT which only diehard fans like me would get, so for newcomers, I'd recommend watching at least season 1 of OUAT to understand everything that's going on. As for my thoughts with before with how people are going to feel about this show, I'm more in the latter category, but probably a bit more positive, even if it took me a while to get into it.
Thank you Sultan for calling Jafar out on everything!
That's just cruel!
Kinda have to feel sorry for the Jabberwocky! And this is the last time we ever see her. Bye!
At least she now has the power to revive him!
EWW!
Interesting gravestones & I still don't like the addition of zombies in OUAT!
OK...this can't be good if he has a freaking zombie army!
Love Alice's motivational speech to her comrades!
Pretty cool fight scene!
What an evil bastard!
Gotta love Alice standing up to Jafar!
Love Will's speech! 'You had real love once & you know it's not that simple..it's messy. It means arguing & making up, laughing & crying & struggling. And sometimes, it doesn't seem worth it. But it is. And at the end, when you're in love, no matter what happens, you forgive each other.'
Nice to finally have a True Love's Kiss in this!
Nice to see you again Nyx...still causing nightmare fuel!
Aww! Poor Cyrus & Amara!
Rather smart way to defeat Jafar & subtle reference to Aladdin! 'Phenomenal cosmic powers...itty bitty living space!'
NO! Not again! :(
Aww!
Sweet reunion between the brothers!
Aww! 'Morning sleeping beauty.'
Nice to see Wonderland back to how it should be!
She looks lovely in her wedding dress!
I love how no one is questioning why a talking rabbit is officiating the wedding!
Very sweet wedding!
Haha! Gotta love Will objecting as a joke!
Aww, they're so cute!
Aww!
Aww! Love their friendship!
Aww! Ana & Will got married!
Aww! Looks like Alice & Cyrus had a family!

Rather fitting way to end this series!
