And Straight On Til Morning!

Onto the final season 2 episode I didn't review, the season finale And Straight On Til Morning, continuing from the previous episode! I loved this episode, especially the Storybrooke scenes with the drama and Regina finally being seen as a hero! I also liked seeing and eharing more about Neverland, like the Lost Ones being introduced and mermaids being evil! And, need I forget RUMBELLE IS BACK! Well, officially, because I just want them to be happy together and get married and have babies! Sorry, I'm a girl I can't help it! My only problem is the plot with destroying Storybrooke was predictable and the way it was fixed was almost anticlimatic! I also didn't really think the flashbacks were as strong as the previous episode, but I liked that it showed Bae and Hook's past and seeing the Lost Boys, including Felix, a secondary antagonist in the third season! And also, I felt the potion the Blue Fairy made was just a cheap way of ending the Belle losing her memories plot! Why couldn't they have done True Love's Kiss?! Then again, maybe Gold realized Lacey could never love him the way Belle did (and does) Still, despite that I loved this episode and I can't wait to see the group in Neverland (just pretend I just watched this since I know what happened in Neverland)

Nice to see everyone working together! And I wonder why Peter is someone even the Dark One would fear!

Second Star To The Right!

As the first part of a two part season finale, this episode starts a major plot for season three by introducing Neverland, as well as the possible destruction of Storybrooke! The flashbacks were amazing, continuing the story with Bae by showing him in Victorian era England and being adopted by the Darling family from the classic JM Barrie novel, Peter Pan! I love how dark Neverland looks compared to the Disney version, especially with the Shadow being creepy (and later on voiced by the creepy Marilyn Manson in season 3) The special effects looked amazing when the Shadow flew Baelfire around London, especially with Big Ben (for the 8:15 which references LOST, OUAT & even Disney's Peter Pan) As for the Storybrooke scenes, they're OK, but at least they're finally progressing the plot and hopefully the stupid Home Office plot and Greg and Tamara can finally come to an end (which it finally does in season 3) I wish we could've seen more of Lacey and Gold falling in love, but what I was baffled at was Lacey being OK with magic despite being frightened and thinking he was crazy in 2x12! Well, at least they kind of had chemistry! I loved Emma and Neal, it actually made me cry when he went through the portal after being shot and telling Emma he always loved her after she confessed that she still loved him. Despite the Storybrooke scenes not really being that great, the flashbacks are very strong and are the reason why this episode is one of my favourites!

The Evil Queen

Here's my second belated season 2 review, The Evil Queen! Now this one, I thought the flashbacks were some of the most pointless I have ever seen. Why did it have to show Regina trying to kill Snow if it would be obvious she wouldn't? I'll give it credit that Regina does consider repenting everything she's done, but we've seen that before! The only good thing about the flashbacks was Rumple and Regina's funny interactions and Lana's acting! Now as for the Storybrooke scenes, I liked seeing Emma and Henry doing a stake out spying on Neal (poor guy) and Tamara and Emma possibly still having feelings for her ex. I thought Henry was annoying (big shock) and the CGI Maleficent was terrible! I actually felt sorry for Regina in the Storybrooke scenes and I don't blame her wanting to leave the rest of the residents dead after how horribly they've treated her! Seriously, if Snow wants to redeem herself after killing Cora, should she try making amends with Regina instead of leaving her alone while the rest go back?! Honestly, I felt this was just filler before the two part season finale! By the way, again JUST LEAVE GREG AND TAMARA!
